Sabbath Keeper Convention got started as a result of a conversation that took place between Pastor Lennox Abrigo and Dr. Mildred P. Isaac (in August of 2007)
of the need to expand the fellowships between Sabbath Keepers throughout the world in a more structured and regular format. In October of 2007, Dr. Isaac called a meeting at Bethel Commandment Church of the Living God to set up the infrastructure to organize the Sabbath Keeper Convention. Sabbath Keeper Convention was incorporated on March 20, 2008. The first convention was held at Fellowship Deliverance Church of Jesus in the Apostolic Faith Inc. in Chesapeake, Virginia May 16th through the 18th in 2008.
