Bishop Timothy Stokley, Jr., President:

As the President of the Sabbath Keeper Convention, I am pleased to welcome you to the Sabbath Keeper Convention. The Sabbath Keeper Convention's legacy, is our mission statement, "we will put you in touch with anointed, purpose driven, motivated and talented Sabbath keepers from all over the world."

In May 1959, I joined Faithway Apostolic Church and was baptized under the leadership of its founder, Bishop F.L. Griffin. I was ordained a Deacon in 1961 and became an ordained minister in 1962. In 1967, I became the Vice president of the Faithway churches of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Apostolic Faith, Inc. I became an ordained Elder of the churches in 1969.

In 1978, I was promoted to Junior Bishop of the Faithway churches. In 1994 I became the Bishop and Overseer/Pastor over the Faithway Churches of Jesus in the Apostolic Faith. In 1997, the Lord blessed me to purchase 17 acres of land on which I was able to build a church for the saints of God in Chesapeake, Virginia. In 1999 I was promoted to Doctor Bishop Timothy L. Stokley.

I am a firm believer in encouraging the saints to " Live Holy and let the Lord Jesus bless you real good" and "Keep God's commandments and live." I am grateful to be the husband of our beloved Lady, Jr. Bishop Lillian A. Stokley. In honor of my wife, I built a fellowship Hall in 2000. We have been married for over 73 years, and to this union we were blessed with 9 children.

My favorite scripture is: Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. Psalm 112: 1-3

Bishop Luther Hill, Jr., Vice President/Prayer Chaplain:

Bishop Luther Hill Jr. is a graduate from Gallatin Senior High School, after that he attended one year each of the following schools: Volunteer State Community College, Tennessee State University, and Nashville Area Vocational Technical School. He came into the Sabbath in 1980. After being called to the ministry in 1995, he was licensed and ordained.

He was called to pastor Sabbath Day C.O.G.I.C. in 1998, with the theme "Remove All Doubt Ministries". With the Almighty's guiding through his Son Yashua (Jesus), He has lead Bishop Hill to read books mentioned in the Bible, but are not there; and to reveal to him more truths concerning his words in books such as: The books of Enoch, Jasher, and Jubilees.
